The very first artist I must mention here is my favorite all-time artist, my extremely talented son, Brodie Rush. Here is a direct quote from the official Be/Non (his band) website.

Be/Non Bio
"Be/Non began in 1995. It was a trio, fronted by a young Brodie Rush. In 1996, Turnbuckle Records (NYC) released Be/Nons first 7" single, "Microsurgical Vasectomy Reversal", produced by Brodie Rush. In 1997, Be/Non released it's first full length album on Turnbuckle Records entitled "You're Playing With Children In The Land Of The Bugs", produced by Brodie Rush and Martin Bisi (Brian Eno, John Zorn and Sonic Youth). As a duo, Be/Non released it's second album in 1998. "Meet The Person Most Responsible For Your Safety" was recorded by Trent Bell (Chainsaw Kittens, The Flaming Lips and Starlight Mints) in Norman, Oklahoma. This album was produced by Be/Non and included performances by Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips.

From it's guitar oriented space-rock beginnings, to the angular, prog-rock of the second album, Be/Non's third offering shows a mature musicality, with unmatched feeling and depth. Be/Non has done extensive North American touring since 1997 with Brooklyn's Oneida, Kelly 18, Rohypnol Rangers (Flaming Lips side project), The Ants, Jumbo's Killcrane & Helios Creed. Brodie Rush is currently touring with Be/Non, which includes drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, lead and support vocals."
